During this unprecedented time, we are doing our very best to protect both our guests and the Cara & Company team. We are currently following the “Guidelines for Safer Businesses” and “Guidelines for Close Contact Personal Services” given in the Governor’s “Amended Safer At Home Order“. We, along with several other salons in the area, have implemented additional policies we feel are necessary to ensure the comfort of our guests and stylists. Because stylists are unable to remain 6ft from clients, and engage in personal contact with several clients per day, it is mandatory for everyone to wear a face covering while inside the building. We are also prohibiting the use of blow dryers at this time. Right now, much is unknown and we have added these precautions using the best information available. All precautions are being taken to minimize direct contact as well as maximize the effectiveness of face coverings. We are also doing our best to keep the Cara & Company team healthy- so that we may continue to provide quality services to you, our valued guests. Due to the heightened demand of time and the sensitive nature of the times we are now living in, our cancellation policy has been updated and will be strictly followed. No-show appointments will be charged 100% of all services scheduled. Same day cancellations/reschedule appointments will be charged 50%. All fees must be paid prior to booking any future appointments. To avoid fees when rescheduling please give us a 24 hours/one full business days notice.
Protocol for the next few weeks:
- All guest will check in outside the salon and will be ask a few questions. You will be asked to sit in your car until your stylist is ready for you. You will be either called or text to come in once your stylist is ready.
- Only guest with schedule appointments will be allowed in the salon. No one is allowed to accompany scheduled guest. This includes minors/children. Any guest that shows up with additional company will be asked to reschedule or have them wait in the car. We have very strict guidelines on who is allowed in the building and we cannot afford to have anyone extra hanging out.
- Guest can walk in to purchase retail but NOT to book appointments. We encourage you to call and ask for available appointments to limit unnecessary people in the building.
- All guest and staff will be required to wear a mask at all times. This is not negotiable. If you show up without a mask or with A mask that hinders your stylist from being able to provide a service, we can provide you one for a fee. Mask need to loop around the ear, not the entire head.
- Sanitation stations will be set up out side the salon to use prior to entering. They will also be on every station.
